  • Call Anna at Thrift World 402-714-1809 to schedule your FREE pick up.

  • Tell her you got this information from “Gethsemane Presbyterian Church”

  • All you have to do is box it up “if you can” and set it outside your house.  They do all the heavy lifting and haul it away.

     Food Pantry

         We ask for donations to be brought on Sundays from our congregation.  Of course we will accept them anytime from anyone! Our Food                  Panty is open for those in need every Monday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am

    Bible Study​

        We have Bible Study every Monday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am


  Outreach Events

     Our church does many out-reach events.  A portion of the money raised from our fundraisers is given back to our local                   community.  For the past 2 years, we have donated money to our local schools to pay down lunch balances for those less fortunate.  
     We want you to know how much we truly appreciate your support throughout the year!  It takes ALL OF US to make a difference.

  Mission Projects

  • We are collecting Iowa 5 cent refund cans/bottles. Bags can be dropped off anytime at our front door.
  • Gabriel's Corner- We are collecting diapers, wipes, onesies and new or gently used clothing and toys
  • Stephens Center- We are collecting shoes!  No heals please.
  • New Visions- Men's deodorant* Soap (bar or body wash)* Shampoo and Conditioner* Men's white socks and underwear (new) Men's clothing and shoes (new or used) Men's razors and shaving cream* Toothbrushes and toothpaste* Sunblock and bug spray* (seasonal) Lotion* Band-aids and other first-aid items Baby wipes/body wipes* Bath towels and washcloths (new or used) Blankets, tarps, sleeping bags (new or used) *Travel/individual size preferred
